Well I think that bands who are comparable to Led Zeppelin would be The Rolling Stones and The Who. I think that all three bands should be considered in the race for the best rock bands ever. As a music lover it is hard to choose between the three, they are all very great. But to choose Led Zeppelin as the one and only - I don't think I can do that. The Rolling Stones, The Who, and Zeppelin have more than shown that they are all GREAT rock bands, possibly the best of all time.

Longevity for all is a huge reason to consider all of them.

The best rock band must have great lyrics, original mind blowing music[doesnt mean complex, simple is also good], great chemistry, knows how to put on a great show, and stand the test of time. If any band can meet these requirements then they could be put into consideration.
