My boyfriend and i are going to have sex for the first time. I know it hurts, b/c of the hymen. How would i go about breaking my hymen myself so i wont have to got through the pain wiht him?

i tried to do this, but couldnt cause it hurt too bad...
when my bf and i had sex for the first time- he was on top and couldnt even get it in...then we did a kind of spooning postition [where you lay on your side and he lays the same way against you] and it wasnt that painful...a few minutes into it, it started to feel good

Take it slowly.

Add a dab of water-based lube on the vulva, the opening of the vagina, inside the condom (if he is wearing one) before it is unrolled, and outside on the penis or the condom before penetration. Reapply as often as necessary to ease any discomfort and increase pleasure.
Experiment with various positions.
If an erection goes away, remember it will most certainly come back.

That's a brilliant idea. Excellent foresight.
No need to over-analyze this: insert something vaguely penis-shaped -- a dildo, a bottle-neck, a cucumber. Will a tampon break the hymen? I confess I am ignorant. Make sure to clean and sterilize whatever you use. Maybe take a couple Advil ahead of time.

that could be a very bad idea.. you could really hurt your self.. sex is natural.. it will only hurt the first time...and when your done take some advil.. let nature take it's course.

It doesn't hurt for all girls.
Make sure you use lube, take your time.
Use condoms.

the only reason it would hurt would be that your not lubricated. use ky and a condom, the condom has lubrication on it. tell your man to take it slow on insertion. be careful, and always be safe.
