Somebody prayed for me once and it surprised me how good it made me feel, since I am not religious.

Oh, absolutely!
If you are religious, this is a wonderful and positive force. If you are not religious, there is still positive energy to be gained from the positive thoughts and good wishes produced.
Even the metaphysical atheists understand that certain energies are positive and helpful, others are negative. If anyone wants to put out positive "vibes" on my behalf I don't care if they think of it as prayer, positive thought, good energies, or good voodoo. I'll take it all...it's all good.

Sure, I believe in the powere of prayer, and even if I didn't it wouldn't hurt me if others prayed.
