Don't you think most people want to live in the country they are born and have feelings of loyalty to that country, and only want to live in another if things are not going well or if work /career dictates.
Beside it takes a dedicated person to drive on the left, drink warm beer (well 52 degrees F) speak with a english accent, play cricket, (badly against the Aussies and almost everyone else come to think of it we do the same with football), endure a summer that lasts 2 weeks and a winter 7 months. Don't forget the rain.
Now what was the question? Oh yes! won't leave it for the world.

I'm sure a few people in my country would like to go to the states (particularly if they are seeking fame and fortune), but I don't think that goes for the majority.
I think most people over here would hate to live there. I know I wouldn't like it. The further I am from G.W. Bush and people pointing guns at each-other the better.
Besides, it would be much worse to be poor in America than poor here. Although, it seems it'd be even worse to be poor AND black though. I think Katrina only went to prove that the US government doesn't really care much when it comes to such individuals. I wonder if a richer/whiter location like LA or NY would still be in as much of a mess after all this time.

Live in america.
Sure if you can afford the rich white areas of florida and New York or even Santa Barbara.
Live anywhere else Delaware is good and boston.
But anywhere else.
Are you F....G CRAZY. With all those Brothers running around.
You can count me out.
Why do more americans move over here that are famous.
The states is a **** HOLE crawling with undesireables.
Canada, austalia and new zealand are boring.
The U.K IS THE NUTS.
You can get anything here and more variety.
Most brits watch to many films.
Try animal cops houston or chicargo to see what a desperately poor place the usa is.
And im not even getting warmed up about NEW ORLEANS.
Most yanks are overweight and i mean huge with no culture.
When i go out on nightout the pubs are full of students, oldies and rich and poor and even goths and its all good stuff.
You walk down a street in the usa called martin luther king road and you are a dead man after dark.

I wouldnt like to live there unless I was working and could afford health insurance etc. It just seems to me that there is so much room! You can actually drive down a road without meeting anyone for a long while. But i dont think I could stay there very long despite the good weather, sea, etc (Id live in California or Long Island) cos I couldnt take all my family with me. I think Im too old to change now!

I have a pen pal from the states who I have been in contact
with since I was 14 and now I'm 42! I visited him about 10 years ago and travelled to North and South Carolina, Florida
Georgia and Tennessee. It was the best time ever and I loved being in the states. I still write and email my friend and have dreamt many times of living there. There are good and bad in all countries and I found my time in the states to be
great. I would like to live there yes!

I live in the US & wouldn't mind living in the UK--the biggest drawback I can think of is food--heard lots of complaints about English food, but I hear there are lots of Indian restaurants there, so can't be all bad. Right now it would be a bit more expensive to live there in terms of exchange rate, but I love all the photos I've seen of the English countryside & I love historic buildings--where I live 1840s is about as old as they get. I've lived in Spain for a few years & loved it, so what the heck, if I had a chance, I'd go just to see what it is like.

I'm British & I can assure you I do not dream of living in USA.
The thought of living in a place where sick people are allowed to die if they cannot afford to pay for their treatment & where every house has at least 1 handgun under the bed & where children bring those guns into school & shoot their fellow pupils is a nightmare not a dream.

I always daydream of what its like to live in the US! I'm from the UK, I suppose because we see what America is like in movies and we just want to go because it seems so much better. Then again, the UK is my home so I'll stay here, but I love going to America on holiday, its amazing!
