I from the U.S.A!!! And I've never been to Scotland but I would like to visit there someday, and I like all of y'alls accents.

Yo! I live in Scotland too. Near Stirling to be precise.
As for the accent? I don't mind it but... I do have a few pet peeves about the accent. My accent is probably much more diluted compared to some of the people that live around here.

lol i love the accent, I'm from Canada..right above America and you would not believe the naivety of American about Canada-or anywhere else for that matter (so many people think we are either the same country, have states not provinces, have the American dollar as our currency not the Canadian dollar, have presidents not prime ministers, live in igloos- the list is so freaking long) when i took history in school we were taught our history and our relations with Americans, we had the option of American history (the class was always full) our geography classes can tell you the names of all the states and their capitals, Ive know Americans who before 9/11 thought Iraq was a crude word for a women's breast. its a shame that the Americans are taught so little about the world around them. i no where Scotland is and some of its turbulent history because i was taught that in school..

I live in Finland and hate the scott accent. Why cant you all speak normal english, is it some kind of boneheadish made up mind thing from the past or what? Most of young people in the world learn english and realise that its the language that is best and easy for all of us to use.

i love the accent cause Shrek has a Scottish accent. I live near Detroit, Michigan, in the USA. I have an English accent but I'm not English and i was born here and so were my parents, and their parents, and their parents.....
