i'm looking for sites similar to explore talent or actors access (preferably not paying per submission though) for online casing calls. i'd like something with a free trial or like a week or whatever. any suggestions? thanks.

ActorsAccess is legit, it comes from the best source you could hope for... Breakdown Services. If there are a lot of auditions you want to submit for check out the Showfax subscription for $68 per year. You can e-submit all you want on your 1 account for free while you have the subscription. Whether or not you use Showfax, if you submit a lot it may be worth it anyway.

If you're only looking for free sites then you can't be serious about doing this becuase those other sites do not have all the listings that AA has. They don't have the same resources.

good luck,
Marianne

Julie, you are going to have the same results no mater where you post your info. They are all worthless, especially to someone with no expereince and training. It is absolutely the wrong way to try to become an actor. There are no open casting calls for anyone who is not a professional with an agent.

There is a site called Nowcasting.com. I think it's the kind of thing you are talking about.

Also, check out magazines like Backstage and Ross Reports, they also have websites.
