I think it would be good to get Lester some pressure packed experience and he cant do much worse than Wakefield. What do you think?

Wakefield supposedly couldn't pitch Sunday night, leading to fears about his back. If Tim can't go, I would think Lester gets the Game Four start. I'm not sure how effective Wakefield will be in the thin air of Denver anyway; Lester had better be ready.

This is more of a question for game 4 because they have already established that it will start with beckett, schilling, and dice-k but for game 4 it would make sense being wakefield, but don't think he would be a lock. Everytime the sox play at Coors field they make sure wake isn't supposed to pitch because of what the mountain air can do to his knuckleball. If they give the ball to wakefield in game 4 don't be surprised if at the first sign of trouble they have lester up in the bullpen

I wouldn't go w/either in game 3... That's a game 4 question. With the answer being Wakefield.

For the love of God, Lester...Thats one problem I have with Francona...Wakefield has experience...but he doesn't have consistency...See the game he lost against the Indians, I think it was game 3...Lester is a better starter...The rotation should be

Beckett
Schilling
Lester
Dice K

I would go with Wake just because of his knuckleball. I am sure the Rockies are not familiar with it and hopefully it would stun them a little bit.
