i had a job interview today and they will check my background, i had a clear background untill last month, i was charged with something i didnt do. i have court in late november, i havnt been convicted of the charge yet, will it show up on my background check?

Even though you haven't been convicted, it will still show up as an arrest.

No, it will not show up. a standard background check involves incidents that have gone through the legal process and resulted with a charge or conviction.

It probably will show up. You also probably answered some questions on your application. Many companies that use background checks will not hire you until the issue is resolved.

It probably wont show up in a check until a resolution is entered in the court record. If you are innocent they cant hold it against you if you were falsely charged.

i dont' think you can have the incident on your background check unless you were found guilty in court. then it goes on a permanant record.
