One cannot chose who is the BETTER between Beethoven and Mozart.

They were each masters in their own right, and of their own styles and for different reasons.

Why would we ever need to try to answer this kind of question? If, say, I chose Beethoven as "best," would that mean I would never want to listen to Mozart's music ever again? Totally ridiculous!

Fortunately, there is no need whatsoever to answer this sort of question. Both Mozart and Beethoven are towering geniuses, and both wrote scores of indisputable masterpieces. We should consider ourselves fortunate that we are able to listen to and enjoy them both, and find that our lives can be deeply enriched in the process.

Its all down to personal tastes, and there is no absolute scale. In my opinion, Beethoven did better music, but Mozart did much more of it.

The subjects are to dissimilar to compare without major controversy, besides the great difference in time periods is the fact that music in itself is completely and entirely subjective and thus each person will have their own opinion.

Like everyone has said it is completely on personal taste....i preferably like beethoven because i have heard more of his works......and i play cello so i have played for many years these songs....my director love all the composers and sometimes it is better to find the smaller less known ones becuase they have amazing songs.

The comparison you ask for is meaningless. Both are incomparable masters and to say one is better than the other would be hubris of the worst sort.

Two totally different musics. Personally, I think mozart is more "llistenable". Tchaikovsky and chopin are my favs., though.
