Im 16 and im driving a 1996 blazer..the other day i was driving home when a deer that was standing on the side of the road ran into me and left a masive dent in my door. Now i cant lower my window nor can the back door open. I really want it fixed but my parents are saying it would be a waste of money. What do you guys think?

It would probably cost you close to the value of the car to have a body shop fix it. If you remove the inside door panel, not a hard task, you should be able to work the outer panel out enough to allow the window to operate again. You can purchase a Repair Manual for the Blazer at your local auto parts store for around $20, which will give you step by step instructions and diagrams for removing the inner door panel.

Shop around at Junk yards. I bet you can find one the same color for about 50 bucks. That way your ride doesn't look like a ghetto mobile. They will even remove it from the old Balzer for you

Go to your local breakers yard .You may be lucky to get a door that is the same color as your truck.Give the guy at the breakers yard your old one and you will be $s in.

Purchase a complete door and window assembly from a salvage yard....and tell your parents thanks. (just kidding about the last part.)
