Is it a good ideo to join the army? Ive been thinking about it cuz i really would like a change of pace in my life and i think it would be cool though challenging. Im in school right now and i know my parents would not approve but im in college and 18 and can make my own decisions? So for all the people who have been in the army would you recommend it?

You are in college. If your school has an ROTC program, that would be a good place to start because it would give you some of the flavor of the Army without a real committment for the first 2 years. If you like it and finish the ROTC program and get your degree, you will go into the Army as a 2nd Lieutenant. It will be challenging and very rewarding. I recommend it highly for someone who is motivated to personal development. Go for it, but I would not quit college to do so, get the degree first.

Look the army is a good way to see the world and develop yourself personally, but you need to ask yourself one question is right now the best time to join.

I'm a 1st LT in the Army(infantry-101st Airborne), it's a very good idea because we teach you leadership, respect, and honor. We teach you to be a "smart soldier" not a "Robot".
