Suz - just FYI "sat" is a human activity. Your question, unless you are asking what size Wranglers, is more likely "What do you think was the last thing someone SET on my forehead."
That isn't entirely accurate, but it is a way to help you remember the difference: If it is a thing that is being put or placed, it is SET. If there is no object being put down, use SAT. (The cat sat. I set the food by the cat.)
