I like your choice - not a film that people talk about a whole lot.

The nervous breakdown that Jimmy Stewart had in 'Vertigo' was pretty good too.

"Clean and Sober" with Michael Keaton

He goes into a an alcohol treatment facility to escape reality and, he does not think he has a problem. Once inside, he hits bottom. When he gets out, something happens that forces him to look at his addiction straight in the face, raw without mercy. What a tough movie. Michael Keaton's finest role, bar none. Yeah yeah, punny choice, bar. LOL

Fatal Attraction (1987)--Glenn Close went off the deep end when she became obsessed with Michael Douglas and even tried to commit suicide because of her "fatal attraction".
Bug (2007)-- The horror movie Bug, about a couple people in a motel who become paranoid of bugs crawling in their skin (starring Ashley Judd). It was very well acted. I started to scratch my skin just watching it. lol

"One Flew Out of the Cuckoo's Nest"---Jack
"Awakening"---Robin Williams and Robert DeNiro

I'm a huge DeNiro fan--and grew up near where both he and Regis lived. Of course, they were already in show business when I was still a kid.
