Jews had prominent jobs in many facets of German society. Teachers, Doctors, Lawyers, many contributed to art, science, medicine, music and philosophy. The nazi regime who felt that the Aryans were superior to all other races had a hard time accepting the fact the majority of Jews living in Germany were educated, many succeeding at the top of their fortes. In order to give the common Aryan a sense of superiority, Jews were no longer permitted to hold posts in Gov. teach, etc. The Germans wanted to belittle the Jews.
(Many of which made great contributions to German society)

The Nazi Party forced them out of business. Even the German public were prohibited from doing business with them. Many fled to other countries as the saw the writing on the wall

Because of the Nazi regime's anti-semitism, a lot of jews lost their jobs just because they were jews. Certain work-areas even became completely forbidden for jews (medicine, schools, etc.)
