My mom makes these beautiful hand made quilts but has been having problems selling them on ebay. Part of the problem is likely the fact that she has no seller feedback and little experience with ebay. I would really be open to any suggestions from experienced sellers for ebay and would love to explore some other sites to see if they may be better for her than ebay. She will have over 200 watchers but no bids! Its not the price because she is barely selling them for more than her personal cost to make them. Any and all suggestions will be welcome but please we will not purchase anything from you and please don't be a jerk! Sorry but there are alot of random responses on yahoo answers lately.

I use my own website. Quilts is something that people will google for, so they should find your mom if she uses good keywords in her descriptions and meta tags. She does need to make sure they are her own designs or designs that have been around for centuries so that she doesn't violate any copyrights.

Just bear in mind, the internet is full of bargain hunters. It's very difficult to get more than $500.00 for a quilt that is an original design, one of a kind and handmade.

Try www.esty.com. I haven't personally used it but I have seen some really beautiful quilts on there sell for quite a lot of money. I've looked into it, and their fees aren't nearly as bad as ebay. They don't have as many people buying, but the ones that are there are looking for crafty stuff, and that's pretty much all that etsy deals with. Hope that helps!

That value is useful for a duvet of that length. earlier you alter the cost, you're able to evaluate changing the photographs. on a similar time as I agree that the colours are slightly previous formed for the form, there are unquestionably people who like those colorations and fabric. regrettably, i do no longer think of the photographs do the canopy justice. First, turn off the date stamp on your digicam. subsequent, verify you have good easy and a show which will tutor off the canopy without being distracting. Block the canopy, if mandatory, to make it as flat and sq. as a possibility. you do no longer opt to tutor any indicators of warping or wrinkles. maximum in all probability this is merely because of the fact the canopy develop into folded or is putting slightly crooked, however the customer does not understand that for useful. multiple photographs are good, as long as they needless to say tutor the canopy. The sunlight shining by way of the canopy merely emphasizes the seams, and does not spotlight the quilting. you're able to furnish one image of the completed duvet, finished physique. extra photographs can tutor close united statesof the quilting, the returned, or perhaps the folded or artistically draped duvet on a chair.
