absolutely, I grew up in New York Inner City schools, so I constantly was made fun of because of my clothes ... Kids would say things like "yo, i bet that shirt cost less than 20 bucks" or "yo pumas? what is this the 80s?" (it was the late 90s, hipsters hadn't popularized them again yet, so they were cheap)
So because of my clothes they thought I was poor,
which was Ironic as those schools where full of lower-income kids who's parents would spend 100 dollars on sneakers and send their kids to school in designer clothing instead of saving for a decent apartment or their education.... I'm SO glad my mom didn't think like that

Not that I know of...but I have been judged because of the way I look. I look a lot younger than I actually am, and people always give me bad looks and say things to me because I have a baby. But I'm 22 and married

Heck yeah. I no longer care so much if I am wearing what is the fad. Even the fad for my age. I go for comfort and whatever team I want to support on my shirt! I used to care if I was a spiffy dresser, though-back in the 60's. Yup. The 60's.

Oh yeah! It's funny how well you're treated going into a place in a suit vs cargo shorts and a hoodie.
I guess it's human nature. I follow the cliche don't judge a book by it's cover!

We are judged everyday, by everyone. You either learn to ignore it, or you live your life by someone else's expectations.
