The tips of the leaves turn brown and then the entire leaf shrivels up and i pick it off. It hasn't flowered since I brought it home from the plant store and all the flowers that were once on it died within the first week. I tried less light, I tried more, I tried less water, I tried more. I re-potted it with miracle grow into a larger pot. It's hardley more that a couple of tiny shriveled leaves and when I bought it, it was tall and exotic looking and nice. I don't know what to do..... the people in my office laugh at my poor little dying plant. : (

normally an anthurium is not that hard to grow.It may be diseased...there is a cure for that also..but beings the poor thing isnt thriving...I must admit I would use caution doing anything else. When you picked the dying leaves..did the rest of the stem turn brown? at a certain point the rest of that leaf stem can be peeled away from healthy green part of plant. If it had some sort of fungus ot mite disease..you can try one part listerine mouth wash, one part dish soap, and mix one part water, put this in a misting bottle...mist plant leaves with this solution once a week. This will kill the disease. On the other hand...it may just be past its prime and will not come back.Dont over water it...keep it away from direct heat , though it needs sunlight.and this winter keep it away from extreme cold.

Leaf tip browning is a sign of inconsistant watering; They don't like wet feet. They do like indirect light.

When you repotted it did you look at the roots? Smell them? Too much water will quickly cause root rot (smells like rotting vegetal matter, stinks) in peace lillies, then they are doomed. sorry
