Are you f-----g kidding me! 2Pac has Eminem beat by a long shot!
Pac's music touched on all levels. He could go from having a party (I Get Around) to being socially conscious (Brenda's Got A Baby) to talking about the love of his mother (Dear Mama). Tupac was a revolutionary because he stood up for all of those who had a voice, but were afraid to speak or didn't know what to say. He's been dead for 11 years and he's still making albums and selling them to the masses! He has a Performing Arts Center in Atlanta, GA that bears his name. When you talk about 2Pac, these things come to mind:
Lover
Fighter
Thug
Poet
Gangsta
Revolutionary
Tupac is so great that you can take his lyrics and build a discussion around them and about why it relates to some of the things that go on in society today.
Don't get me wrong. I'm from Detroit and Eminem's cool with me, but he's got a long way to go to be compared to Tupac. The only reason they're compared to one another is because both exhibited bad boy behavior that the media caught on to and ate up! Anytime a rapper or celebrity does something bad or terrible, it gets magnified over a thousand times in the press while an act of goodness virtually goes unnoticed.

NO DOUBT PAC -he made an album in 7 days and the so called king Mathers(eminem) takes 2 years to realese an album
Pac made 3 albums in 1996 which would take eminem 6 years

Pac has had a lasting legacy on hip-hop which is never going to diminish....Eminem had a brief flurry of unbelievable material and just seems to have hit a rut artistically, which he will never get out of (and seems like he really doesn't care if he does).

2 pac he's been dead for how long and is still releasing material now that's what you call a legend.I believe his death made him even more of a legend,eminem's good but he has to do something really INCREDIBLE to surpass 2 pac and stop doing songs that are silly,like lose it and more of stan and cleaning out my closit.

Eminem. But you really cant put them in the same catergory apart from 'Rap'. They're both different and unique in their own ways, I just prefer that style of Eminem. More controversial and funny.
