Keep in mind that however many coins and bills you have to start with, your till or cash drawer can only hold so much!

For example, let's say that you get $50 in pennies, and the rest in the other coins and bills. Where are you going to put the ***5000*** pennies (that's 100 rolls of pennies!!!!), if your box can only hold 50 pennies at a time??? Even if most of the coins are in rolls, you'll still need a place to store them out of the reach of thieves! (try putting a couple of rolls in your store apron or jeans pocket; still comfortable? now try it with the remaining rolls!)

Just something to think about! ;)

what ever your boss reccommends...you need whatever change is required for what you are selling and what prices they add up to. If everything is in .25 increments then you don't need dimes, nickles, or pennies...savvy? Unless the increments go down to pennies, you won't need them.

Your store owner should advise you what to do. I don't know how stores operate in Canada and if they take $100 bills or not.
