Yahoo Republicans want a PERSONAL line item veto to take items off their tax bill that their moral outrage cannot support -
you know, like food for the poor and outreach for the elderly....that kind of wastefulness.

Republicans have always supported a line-item veto. They even tried to enact one through legislation in the Clinton administration, but it was ruled unconstitutional.

I am a libertarian and I support the line-item veto. It is a necessary check on legislative spending and power. I'm not a "republican" per se, but definitely lean to the traditional right (small government, bootstrap society, individual rights) on most issues.
