I use Word and when I click on a word to find a synonym, I have to click on thesaurus for answers. I used to just show them to me, without having to click on thesaurus. Thesaurus is just there to see more options. Please help. Thanks

I know that you right click it.

Hold down ALT and click the word. A research sidebar window will pop up on the right. There is a text field at the top, and a drop down below the text field. Select Thesaurus from the drop-down. Once you select it, the thesaurus should be the default tool for the ALT+Click feature until you change it.

EDIT: If right-clicking on a word doesn't pull up any results, it could be that there are no suggested synonyms for the particular word.
