I think some human lives will end then, from heart disease, starvation, cancer, AIDS, floods, exposure, and more. But I think that the race will go on. Why wouldn't it? Maybe because some silly prophecy says so, or because an aztec calendar stopped there? That's more likely because they ran out of space on the stone, is all.

Human life won't. But there may be a transformation in 2012. Our souls (most of us) are supposed to go on forever.

The bible says that no one knows the day or time that the world will end. If I had to guess I would say no

no. civilization as we know it will die, but not for another few hundred years at least, either by disease, nuclear wars, and that kind of thing.
