We know that little indestructible "black box" on the plane, why can't we make the whole place out of that material???

The official answer to this question is because the interstate highways aren't wide enough for jets to drive down them. Oh, you "could" make a plane out of black box material, but it wouldn't fly. That is why they make it out of "plane" material because people want to fly and not store recording devices.

Building a plane like a safe would make it too heavy to fly. Also, if the plane fell from 30,000 ft. and remained intact, the g-forces on impact would kill everyone inside. The "guts of the black box are designed to take high forces, temperatures, etc....humans aren't as durable. A "black box" plane would make recovery/burial easier though.
