so today me and my friend were talking on the bus and i told her about how im going to england soon and shes like "you have to take pics" and i said "yea im gonna go to a wax museum with fake celebrities and take some with them" and she said "you have to take some with johnny depp" and she thinks hes so hott. then i say "eww hes so ugly. why do some girls like him? i dont get it" and she started to get all mad and she turned away from me. and then i asked her after 3 mins later of awkward silence "are you seriously mad at me?" and she didnt say anything and was looking out the window so then it was my stop and i was got off the bus...
dont you think shes being overdramatic?, i mean i would understand her getting mad if i was saying that stuff about people she actually knows in real life but she doesnt even really know johnny depp? should i apologize???? what would you do??

you friend is blowing this way out of proportion. i tell my friends their crushes are ugly and some of them that heir boyfriends are ugly. they may give me a dirty look but we respect each others opinions. like my friend's boyfried has a nappy afro i've told her that many times and she never gets mad like that. if you ask me she is being a drama queen

You are entitled to your opinion. Your friend is overreacting.
She may also be just a wee bit jealous because you are going on a fantastic trip - but that is no excuse for overreacting.
No, you don't need to apologize for having your own beliefs over who's hot and who's not. But you might be a little less enthusiastic (at least on the outside) around your friend. Again, she's jealous.
But why do you need an overbearing drama queen for a friend anyway?

Try calling her . She may just be kidding,and took it too far.If so you should let her know, that you didn't know she was kidding, and you kinda got your feelings hurt when she wouldn't talk to you.
If she is seriously mad, you have 2 options, you can apologize just to settle the argument, or you can not and see what she does, but don't feel bad because you don't like johnny depp. I used to have the same argument with one of my friends, and now we're even closer, and she got me to like Johnny depp. haha. But maybe just agree not to discuss who's hot and who's not with her. Whatever you do, you shouldn't feel bad for not liking the same person she does.

Don't say sorry, shes obviously young and will get over it. Johnny depp is attractive to me. and a great actor, but if you said he was ugly, i would just say okay. Your opinion is yours, dont feel bad, shell get over it soon.

I'm in my 50s and have a friend in her 70s and she got mad at me when I said I didn't like Frank Sinatra!!! When she showed ire to me I just said "Hey, sorry gal, we can't all have the same taste. He was of your generation and Elvis was of mine!" And let it go at that. She got over it and now we don't talk about Frankie or Elvis!!!

i play like that all the time with my girls we tell each other how ugly there crush is and they say it back theres nothing big to it its not like jonny deep is someone in her life, she will never meet him, but to be nice u should take the pic for her
