No why? no steady long term available income. Unemployment is for 26 weeks, get a job first,, a stable job then you have a chance.

Sure, as long as you have a credit history. That is more important for buying a car. If they ask you what you do for a living, say contractor. Give them an estimate of what you made last year, or up to this point. Include unemployment checks in your estimate because that's income too. You pay taxes on it. You don't have to give them the name of a company, just say you don't want to. They won't ask for pay stubs.

Oh -- you mean can you finance a car if you're receiving unemployement checks. Doesn't seem like a good idea to me, but I happen to be really conservative, financially.
