"Do not rent from [apartment name]...
until you've heard of my deal first".

This ad would be posted online. I am renting a unit from the mentioned apartment, and wish to have prospective lessees look at my unit first, before going to management.

Of course but that doesn't mean they won't sue you. Something doesn't have to be illegal in order for someone to sue you for it. If they have better lawyers than you than you will lose.

Sounds like you are trying to break a lease or at least sublet your apartment, make sure you are allowed to sublet before doing so and remember you are still responsible for the damages the person you sublet to does.

If you simply want to break your lease, talk to the managers, even if you find someone to take over your lease the manager still has to agree to it, it is after all their property.

You risk the chance of a lawsuit. Should you decide to do this, make sure of all the facts and be able to prove it in court.

Not sure I'd be too specific on the [apartment name].
