A relationship is what you make of it. It takes work; it takes effort. People change as they grow older. It's important to try to change together so you don't grow apart.

Depends on you relationship. Marriage #1 for me: fizzled, got divorced. Marriage #2, working a lot harder at the relationship, it's gotten better every year (and I mean way better!).

Yes, for many couples that is exactly what happens, and it almost leads to infidelity. That is why couples have to find ways to reinvent romance and keep the passion and desire alive. Do a search on google for the percentage of people involved in sexless marriages. The numbers will surprise you.

Depends on how hard you work to keep things "fizzling".
It never just "happens" except when you're first dating. Other than that, you actually have to DO something.

relationships, like everything else, take alot of work to make them successful. You have to give 110% every day. When you have the one you truly love in your life, giving that much should come easy.

Passionate love becomes replaced by companionate love. You lose a lover and gain a friend, happens all the time.

o.k.... I would be the first one to tell you (anonymously of course) that my husband and I have serious issues. But..don't believe everything you hear about being married and boring sex. I'm sleepy today for a reason. (we've been married more than ten years)
