It takes 1000's and 1000's of years for them to think up these things yet in the past 100 years it seems like 'most of it' happened. For instance, car , tv, computer, space ... Before that how come no one hardly ever thought of anything? How could in 1000's of years no one think of a CAR. And they say man invented the 'wheel', i cant imagine how one could not think of inventing the wheel. Was 'man' less intelligent in the past or has he became smarter the past 100 years?

with the industrial age came a surge of new technology....before people were struggling just to live, so t.v. and cars weren't really an issue (neccessity is the mother of invention) and while the last hundred years have seemed to be more productive in some ways, we weren't having to deal with being eaten by bears or getting the plague. I do think that with time comes superior intelligence too....experience, learning from history etc.....

not at all. As a matter of fact, so many things we take for granted were invented 100's of years ago, 20th century offered technological advancement, because of the fierce competition between likes of US, Russia and China., besides, 21st century people are backwards when it comes to culture, art and music
