Was that cool or what. He's still a Red Sox at heart. I love that they brought him back to throw out the first pitch. He's still a fan favorite in Boston.

I never said I wanted Millar back. Just that he's still loved in Boston. Trot should come throw out the first pitch. We still love him too.

They should do everything they can to get Buckner to throw out a first pitch. Now that they won in 2004, the fans need to let him know all is forgiven, and they appreciate the great career he had there.

It's kind of irregular to imagine the Red Sox and Yankees getting together on a trade proposal, but a Keith Youkilis deal just might stem the tide that exists between the fanbases, at least.

Ah, just kiddin'...but, as far as Millar is concerned, why not a return to Boston next year? They'll most likely need a backup first baseman/outfielder since it'd probably be fair to assume Hinske and Kielty won't be back, so if Cowboy would be accepting of a role that is more limited to what he was accustomed to, signing him might be a decision that makes sense.

Who the heck is Keith Youkilis? Is that the brother of Kevin Youkilis? It's a pretty classy move to bring back an ex-Red Sox to throw out the first pitch. I think more teams should bring back former players to throw out first pitches for postseason games.

Maybe they'll have Trot Nixon throw one out in the World Series!

Why when you guys have Keith Youkilis.... How about you send Keith Youkilis to New York Yankees for a pair of minor leagues and you can get Kevin Millar from Baltimore? Just a thought... it wouldn't happen but Kevin Millar is a great Red Sox but Keith Youkilis is the future Red Sox great.
