There was a question asked about Bush/Cheney starting rhetoric for a war with Iran. My question is, given the intel that was proved false after going into Iraq, why would anybody believe anything that Bush/ Cheney says about Iran?

When have they lied to begin with? They say outright what they are doing be it the amnesty act, Dubai ports deal, China, Iraq, Iran, they say to the public and that is why the public gets upset because a lot of things they do is about the same thing Clinton has done. Selling the country out for more money. But at least under this President we have not been attacked back to back like we were under Clinton and having national security and military bases shut down to get money in the otherwise crappy economy that we were under during Clinton.
As for the war nothing was lied about. The problem was every time we were about to go to war with Iraq the NY Times would post war strategies and what we were planning on doing delaying our entry in Iraq. So by the time we got over there to Iraq, Saddam had enough time to get his payroll leader list a few calls and majority of his WMDs shipped out of the country. Most likely Syria, Palestine or Lebanon. Saddam had used WMDs in the past against Iran during the Iran/Iraq war and against his own people. We found buried in the Iraq desert over 500 cases of Saryn gas. But like the democrats tend to do, when they are faced with reality, is turn it around and say that wasn't what we were talking about. Because obviously it takes a huge disaster like 9/11 to get them on the ball to realize who and what the terrorists will do! Because obviously the first 1993 WTC bombing, the 2 US Embassy bombings, the USS Cole, and Yemen Marine Base bombing is not enough to get democrats on the ball to go to war and kill these terrorists and get them off the earth so people in middle east and around rest of the world can live without fear of suicide bombings, car bombings and beheading!
Bush hasn't lied. Now just because I say this do not think I am a "Bush bot" or whatever the hot word for liberals is nowadays regarding that.
If he lied and there is all this "proof" of him doing so why have no impeachment trials or any kind of investigations going on now? I mean congress is democrat majority now, have Pelosi in there too. Where is all this proof they claim to have? This strong hard concrete proof they all say they have and say on TV and everything else. WHY HAVEN'T THESE SHYSTERS MOVED FORWARD FOR THE INVESTIGATIONS YET?? Answer that!
"THE FORMER IRAQI REGIME OF Saddam Hussein trained thousands of radical Islamic terrorists from the region at camps in Iraq over the four years immediately preceding the U.S. invasion, according to documents and photographs recovered by the U.S. military in postwar Iraq. The existence and character of these documents has been confirmed to THE WEEKLY STANDARD by eleven U.S. government officials."

Interview with Sabah Khodada on PBS:

Yeah, Saddam had nothing to do with terrorism.
But then again I am sure to a simple liberal mind these articles are all "right-wing" propaganda articles and not to be paid any mind to.

I really doubt it. It seems like they are all spoiled. If they went to work in a min wage place where just your day to day expenses take a toll, then maybe they would apprieciate that our enemy is causing the current living situation to hurt. That and they would be to busy working- and not sitting on there butt -to have time to protest something they aren't going to change. Hmm maybe then they would appreciate America beacuse the only fun they would really get to have is at the 4th Of July parties. =)

I don't believe a damned thing that comes out of their mouths! The war in Iraq was started after they insisted that there were WMDs in Iraq and that they posed a threat to our security. And then, just a few weeks before the 2004 election, they FINALLY admitted that no WMDs had been found in Iraq. What a pity that so many thousands of people have died because of their lies!

I have no idea. I would like to see Cheney impeached and possibly imprisoned for his actions. He is a dangerous man.
We don't need to worry about the terrorists. We need to be concerned with him.
Iran is not a serious threat. There is no evidence that they are a threat to the U.S. Rather it is a country that we should keep a watch on as we should all countries. We should not take anything for granted.
Please check out Dennis Kucinich.

24% and dropping. These idiots think that by killing more Iraqis in the name of Democracy was better than Saddam killing them. Only now our guys are getting killed as well. If we had just gone after terrorists and stayed out of Iraq, but no those greedy bastards had to start a war!

I am so tired of “Bush Lied” and “Bring our Troops Home” that my stomach meds are low. Senators Palosi and Reid are in an excellent position to charge the President with lying or a “Vote of No Confidence” and won’t do so. If they did and the President were guilty of the charges I would endorse it wholeheartedly. Every bill or resolution that passes through all of Congress to provide for the war effort has done so overwhelmingly and had to cross party lines to do so. My conclusion is “Bush Lied”: FALSE; “Bring our Troops Home”: FALSE. So let us stop with the WWF style of scripted theatrics and just get down to basic honest work by those in the Legislative Branch.
The great thing about this country is you don't have to trust anyone. But if someone is accused of a crime they need to be charged and then the opportunity to defend themselves. I have no intention of taking away the rights of anyone to include the President of the United States.

I know I would not listen to anything they have to say.
In fact if Bush comes on television, I change the channel, because I am tired of his lies.

Some people still believe in a flat earth and a literal interpretation of old testament bible stories. No one ever went broke underestimating the intelligence of the American public.
