If you're on BC pills, they're usually 99.9% safe, as long as you take them regularly. Have you skipped taking any of your pills? Your cycle changes overtime & they can vary due to stress, illness, medication or loss of weight.
The best is to check in with your doc. & see what she/he has to say. I would also check in with your female relatives (mom, sister or aunt, if any have been on BC pills) & see what is normal for your family.
