I don't have any kids. When I was little though, my mom used to pick out all of my tootsie rolls from my Halloween candy, it didn't bother me though, because I don't like them.

Since it is not safe to go trick or treating anymore, I just goto the store and buy the candy I want to eat.

my son is almost 15 months old so i'll eat all his candy, I did last year when he was barely 3 months old!
my mom would ask me if she could have reeses peanut butter cups and almond joys but she wouldn't take any unless if i said it was okay
