you're able to no longer found out that English isn't the respected language of u . s ., it relatively is a language from England. it could be unconstitutional to stress English upon others. Freedom could be a large number of artwork, isn't it? The founding fathers hesitated to make English the respected language by way of fact they have been afraid that the British could take back the u . s .. urgent a million is an extremely small fee to pay for freedom. i wish you're able to experience patriotic the subsequent time you press a million.

It's called a call director.
It's an automated device which helps direct your call to the right person -- in this case, an English speaking customer service representative.
It helps lower your costs, because it's a lot cheaper than the company having to hire bilingual operators to do nothing other than answer the phone and direct your calls based on your language.

I agree, you should not have to choose to be spoken to in your own countries language. There aren't any options for German, or Arabic, etc.. on those recordings. Only Spanish. Now why is it, that throughout history, all other immigrants have had to learn our language? Instead of the USA is having to change an entire working industry to please one nationality of people. THATS CRAZY.

Because companies recognize that 1/7 of their customers have Spanish as a first language--and they are a lot more interested in giving those customers good service than in catering to a tiny minority of bigots living in trailer parks.

You can press 0 and the switching system will usually forward you to a live person.
Like the government most companies are trying to suck up to the Hispanic portion of the population.

Let me explain this to you V-E-R-Y slowly. Businesses are in business to make money. They have a right to do this. (That's one of the major beliefs of Republicans, innit?) In order to make the most money, you must win the most business. To win the most business, you must provide the best customer service. If your customer speaks Spanish, by providing him/her customer service in his/her own language induces him to buy. That's the goal of business.
Employing a human operator to pick up every call and figure out what language the call needs to be dealt with in and routing it to the correct department is much more expensive than having your customers do their own routing up front.
Why can't you conservatives read your own party platform?
