what exactly can they do and what cant they, can they kick your door down, will they try and take absolutly everything you have, can they take someone elses posetions that are at your property

Although you didn't state the circumstances, it sounds like you are on probation. The probation department has the right to search your property when they want to. You signed papers to this effect when you accepted probation. Items in the home, including others possessions, are included in the search.
