That really depends on my instincts of the person in question.
I tend to trust myself and my observations.
You can tell a good heart in time.. it resonates and shines through in a way that makes you feel warm and safe. :)

Sarah, what a great question
I guard my heart very carefully
inside these concrete walls
sometimes I let it out to play
and then I go for it all
For nothing ventured
is nothing gained
I've said time and again
I've put my heart back inside now
until I can let it go again.

Right now, I am guarding it. When that special someone comes along and can get past the first wall and make me really care for him, I will go for broke.

Twice I went for broke - and boy did it get broke! If we don't learn from mistakes then how will we learn. Now I keep something in reserve and it's a shame because this time I have a good one who will never have 100% of me.

Mostly after I weigh the odds, I go for broke. Sometimes you have to step out and take a chance.

I always go for broke! How can you LIVE if you don't go for broke full on to the max? You experience more, love more, have more fun if you live life to the fullest. And that means going for broke. So just go for it baby!!!

I have always guarded it very closely, until my husband found a way to beam himself inside, ala Star Trek...now it's his territory.
