When Phyllis hears about the disaster at Clear Springs, she is desperate to call Nick to ask if he's okay, but she never gets an answer. Jana tries to help her through it, trying to calm her down. She calls everyone - Victor, though he has not heard from Nick or Victoria, tries to call Nick beforehand, and even tries to call Jack, but she still doesn't have the answer she's looking for. Finally, she decides to sneak out of prison early, even though her release is the next day. Jana tries to intervene. Finally, when Phyllis calls Daniel, he tells her that he will go to Clear Springs to check, on the condition that Phyllis does not break out early, and tells Jana to inform him if she does.
Nikki has not heard from Nick since the collapse. She calls Victor to ask if he's heard from him, but of course, he has not. Nikki is desperate, but Victor tells her to get away from the building. Nikki would do no such thing. Finally, in a last ditch effort to see where Nick was during the collapse, she goes to the restaurant to ask if Nick, Sharon or Jack had dinner there that night. It's there that David Chow gives her a message.
Nick, Jack and Sharon are trapped in the underground parking lot, trying to escape. They argue over some things that are probably frivolous, and Sharon tells them to stop. Jack agrees, saying they need to get out before they are hit with methane. With the help of Jack's tie and Nick's shirt, Sharon gets some support for her injured leg. With the further help of some metal crowbar, Jack holds on just in time for Nick and Sharon to escape; Jack would join them later.
Meantime, Brad and Neil are driving to Clear Springs. Brad insists Neil shut the radio off, and he gets on his cell phone. He asks for Sharon and doesn't even have a thought for Victoria (who, BTW, might be carrying his child.) When Neil asks about the call, Brad reveals that he slept with Sharon at a low point of his life - when he was newly married to Victoria. That little POS!
Nick escapes in time to reunite with Nikki, and Sharon is carried out on a stretcher, concious. When Nick tells the authorities that Jack is still in the rubble, they mention that a ten-year-old boy is also trapped. Nick asks who the boy is, and they tell him it's Noah. Sharon screams in horror and worry, and Nick attempts to go back to rescue Noah, but he is held off. Finally, in the final shot of the episode, we see Noah is trapped in the rubble, unconcious.
