i left a my previous employer due to a hostile work enviroment and sexual haraasment by my supervisor. i wrote a statement 5 weeks ago and the company did nothing about it. now because i filed for unemployment, and filed a lawsuit they are calling me back and say they are conducting an investigation. isnt this a little to late? like 5 weeks late?

Better late than never. I'm sure that the only reason that they are investigating is to have a defense for the law suit.
