I used to do that, but i found that it interfered with my holiday so i stopped taking it with me. The first day or two may seem a bit weird without it but it feels good to be away from a computer.

Nah. I like holidays to be the few days a year just having fun and stayin outdoors really. I don't bring games or anything either.

Yeah! I protect it like it's my firstborn child, but I'm a writer and I need to have that to jot down ideas and experiences. I usually drive places, so it's not too much of a chore to bring it with me. If I flew, then I think it would be difficult.

No. We used to have a very basic one at our summer place in the US....but we don't have the internet there yet. I think my father wants to change that, though.

yes, it's not that hard at all to carry around a desk top.
i hang it around my neck then i put a bow or a pretty scarf on it to make it look fashionably exceptable. i have even gotten comliments on my desk top. isn't that wonderful?
