To answer your questions seperatly.
1. Yes, all PS1 games play on a PS2, BUT you need a PS1 memory card to save the games with.
2. FF7 is ONLY a PS1 game. There are side stories for the PS2, the PSP and Cell phones too; but only the PS1 has the real FF7.

Hi yes you can as but you can only save your game onto a ps1 memory card, and I dont think final fantasy 7 is out on the ps2 only on ps1

about 99% of Ps1 games will work on a Ps2. And there is no FF7 for Ps2. The Ps1 version of FF7 will work on Ps2 with no problems.

yes you can, and on ps3, ps1 and ps2 play on ps3 but not the other way around, fantasy 7 isnt available for the ps2

Yes you can play PS1 games on the PS2...... and you can also play Game boy games on the Gameboy colour :)
You can play FF7 on a PS2, as long as you have the game :)
