I do. I was diagnosed as diabetic about five years ago. The Dr. said I -had- to get some exercise, but I had never been an exercising kind of person. He suggested going for a walk, just losing myself in the neighborhood. I began walking about 1 mile about five times a week and now I'm up to 3-5 miles.
I listen to audio books on my iPod, and find I can't wait to get out there and hear the next part of the book. In fact if I can't walk for a few days for some reason (usually rain), I find that I get 'antsy' and restless.

Definitely. I'm taking one at lunch time like I do every day. It's a beautifual autumn day, there's a park with a walking track nearby, and it's a great way to burn calories...(I just ate lunch)...
