I don't mean the radio, CD player, etc. I don't. I used to be able to play Amazing Grace on a little keyboard, but not now. My dad used to play harmonica and, and...oh shoot, senior moment here.....and....accordion, that's it! I don't think my siblings and I have any musical talent.

I sing, play piano, and have an accordian which I used to play, quite well as a matter of fact. I am learning the violin and would say that it is NEVER to late to learn something new, even a musical instrument. Don't just THINK you don't have musical talent, pick an instrument that you like and learn how to play it. You will be surprised how much joy you get out of that terrible noise you will be making (me playing the violin).

Music is the most wonderful healer in the world, and it keeps you young and happy.

I started taking piano lessons when I was about 6. I loved it. Took for about five years. Learned to appreciate music. Bought myself a Yamaha upright Clavinova and loved it, but had to sell it due to some financial misshaps. I will get another one, though. I still have all my music sheets and books. That is neat that you could play Amazing Grace. I taught my granddaughter how to play Twinkle Twinkle, Little Star, but she never cared much for the piano after I started getting her to play properly. ( I guess I was too strict).

When I was an adult, I bought myself a harmonica and loved to play that. I am missing it now, don't know what happened to it. That was fun to play cause I took take it with me.

My parents paid for piano lessons and it was great when I played on the cardboard keyboard. Then my mom bought a baby grand piano, and I was practicing and practicing, well, that lasted two weeks, enough that my mother was going insane. They stopped the lessons so I wouldn't have to practice, my dad was talented, so I could play along, he bought a triangle for me to play. Unfortunately, I could never be a rock star with playing the damn triangle, LOL

I was forced too take piano lessons as a kid, oh to many years ago. I have an electronic keyboard that I play occasionally.

Played the Baritone horn and brass Tuba in Jr. and HS band also sang in the HS chorus and Church choir. Started smoking and lost my singing voice.

Can't whistle 'Dixie' today and don't sing in the shower either as not to disturb my neighbors next door..

I can play the violin, the flute and the piano and also the guitar a lil. Oddly i cant read music though, im apparently one of the low percentage of people that can play by ear, if i hear a song played once then i can instantly play the song myself, its something im told my grandfather could do too and its supposed to be a rare Talent.

I play cello and can plunk out a tune very poorly on the piano. I hope to learn some guitar this year.

My father is still playing his trumpet in a small dance band at 86. He also sings in the church choir and sometimes directs the bell choir.

I have no talent what so ever. I have an electronic keyboard that I bang away on for my own amusement. I always wished I had been able to take piano lessons, but could never afford them. I love the piano.

I play the piano, took it up when I retired at 57 and treated myself to an old piano, also studied music theory up to grade 7.I play a little every day but it is frustrating how soon you forget a piece if you don't play it regularly.Have to consider the neighbours as they might be disturbed by it.

After studying the piano for 12 years my piano teacher was shocked when I chose to attend a liberal arts college and major in history. I guess it is a sin to waste talent but I got incredibly nervous playing in front of people, my fingers would freeze and become stiff as boards. I still play for my own enjoyment but still get intimidated in front of people!

Still have my parent's Lowery organ...guess it's about 40 years old now. I mess around on it, and any piano that I happen upon, but never was accomplished at either. I mostly play by ear (never could get the hang of reading music) and can easily fool myself into thinking that I'm as good as my mother was! Lord, she could belt out the old tunes and I remember many family sing-alongs.
