He stunk in the playoffs, but you'd be very stupid to trade him based on his performance over a 50-plate appearance sample size. It would be ridiculous to throw out OPS+ seasons of 162, 168 and 179 just because the guy hit a cold streak in October. He just didn't have it in 2007, but I'm sure he'll be back.

If you're willing to give that up, though, I'm sure my Jays would be happy to have him. In exchange, you can have Howie Clark and Russ Adams.

Is Hafner the only Indian who lost last night? Seems to me the score was 11-2. He'd have had to get a lot of hits to make up the difference.

Hafner was hardly the only hitter to go missing in action, as the Indians were outscored in the final three games of the Series, 30-5. There were others struggling to find hits at the end.

Grady Sizemore, after a three-hit game in Game 2, had three hits in his last 17 at-bats over his last five games, Victor Martinez and Ryan Garko both had four hits in their last 16 at-bats over their last four games, and Jhonny Peralta, who at one point looked like the ALCS MVP, had one hit in 10 at-bats in the final three games of the series.

The Indians hit .222 over the final three games as a team, including .176 (3-for-17) with runners in scoring position.

Pronk was off his game this entire year and the playoffs were no different.
