I am 31 and just had my well-woman exam last week, and the doctor felt some sort of lump on my left breast. My breasts were very dense and uncomfortable during the exam since my period was coming in few days. Since the exam, I've been having pain on that spot and if I touch it, it gets worse. The pain is on a 24-hour basis, with a varying strenght. I was advised to take Advil for a possible inflamation. Have anyone had the same experience? I am very nervous...

I've had breast pain before but not because of lumps such as a cyst. For me it turned out to be a condition called costochondritis which is an inflammation of the cartillage around the ribcage. I would recommend getting back in touch with your doctor to let them know that you are still having the pain and would like to see what else they think could be going on.
