Leave it and keep going. The police have more important things to worry about than i dead/injured squirrel. If it was a Dog or a Cat and it could be a family pet I would check with neighbors to see if they know who it belongs to.

I would leave it and not call the police. The police has more important things to do that rescue a squirrel. But I'd be more careful next time.

Id leave it because the police shouldn't worry about that anyways. Just leave it and let the foxes eat.

i mean i feel sorry for the little thing but now it's pretty much roadkill...
(if you really feel bad about though you could properly bury it...but then again...most people would just keep going.)

oh and the police definitely wouldn't care unless...
either:
(a) it caused a wreck
(b) it's as big as godzilla.

NO, I would stop, get out, see if it's ok, and cry my eyes out! and if it wasn't ok, i'd have to take it, and bury it. thats for any animal, i woud do that!
