Well no one can be sure. The same kind of thing can be wondered about lots of things like why did someone drink sour grape juice to discover wine.
As for cooked meat, I think it is possible there was a brush fire caused by lightning or something, and there was an animal killed by the fire. not completely burned in some parts, definitely cooked. So a band of hungry humans come along and think why not give it a shot? it's meat isn't it? So they take a bite and discover that hey, that's really juicy and delicious!

We don't know. We can only speculate, and make 'educated' guesses, or come up with theories.
I tend to think, that it was to warm up the food initially, that it was put on a fire. if the food was killed, and it wasn't all eaten at once fresh, then some of it would have been stored. Maybe during an ice age, it was warmed to defrost it, and therefore make it edible.
It makes sense for humans to store food, so they don't have to hunt as often. Perhaps, humans scavenged as well.
Cooking makes the food more palatable, it softens it as well making it easier to chew, and to digest.
They may have thought that putting it in the fire, and smoke, 'purified' it; which makes sense.
There is a theory that they wanted to make it warm, because fresh meat which had just been killed would be warm, and was easier to eat.
Humans are very clever at figuring out solutions to problems, so I am sure they could have and probably did think of it themselves rather than it accidentally happening.

I don't know. Probably tasked some meat that was discarded in a fire or some animal that burned in a wildfire, I suppose.

Have you ever eaten raw mammoth ?
And it would have taken hours for Fred Flintstone to chew through a brontosaurus burger if it wasn't cooked properly.
