I did the same as you, before I found out I was pregnant (I'm 8 weeks now) I was drinking so much. I went on holiday, celebrated my birthday and went to my brothers leaving do so I did some pretty heavy drinking and had no idea that I was pregnant. I was really worried too, but there really is nothing to worry about. I've read that it takes about 2 weeks after implantation (so around 4 to 5 weeks pregnant) for your bloodstream to come into contact with the fertilised egg, so anything that you'd eaten or drank that you shouldn't have, wont have come into contact with the baby. Take a look at this link:
http://www.3dpregnancy.com/calendar/7-weeks-pregnant.html
If you are concerned I would discuss it with your doctor, but I wouldn't worry, you dont seem to be too far along and as you've stopped drinking now, you've done the right thing. Just look after yourself and dont beat yourself up over it.
Congratulations on your pregnany xx

RE:
If you had some drinks before you knew you were pregnant, is the baby ok ?
I just found out I was pregnant. In the last few weeks I have been having some strong drinks, due to alot if functions we have been going to. I have not had a drink since I found out and have no desire to. I feel like I drank alot the last few weeks and Im scared of the development of the baby

Stop worrying as this is not good for either you or your baby!! Explain to your Dr or midwife your concerns at your next appointment i'm sure that everything will be fine. I was on medication that can stunt the growth of an unborn baby until I was 6 wks pregnant as I didnt know, but as I stopped it as soon as I found out the Drs reassured me the baby was fine. As long as you are no longer drinking etc then im sure your going to be fine. Just talk things over with your midwife!! Hope this helps and Congratulations!!!

since you just found out u were pregnant you can't be that far along. So, I doubt that the alcohol you did drink caused any harm at all to your baby. If your really concerned about it you can ask your doctor. I've read several different times that drinking alcohol before you knew you were pregnant normally doesn't cause any harm to the fetus.

My advice would be not to drink from now on. I don't think that the drinks you've had harmed the baby, but be honest with your physician. Let them know so that if they have any concerns, they can keep an eye on the baby's development and such. Unless someone was trying to conceive, I think almost all of us have been in this situation at one time.

It depends on how far along you are! If you just found out I'm assuming that you are about 5 weeks and that should be okay! Anything later than that might have had a chance to affect your baby, you need to aee a doc and it's good that you stopped drinking! The chances are slim if you are early in your pregnancy!

You should be fine. There is nothing you can do about the past and you have plenty of time to develop the baby now. Good luck and don't drink anymore.

mine's fine, and i got really drunk just a few nights before i found out (i was less than 5 weeks pregnant, conceived less than 3 weeks prior)
before a certain gestational age, the placenta isn't formed & the baby doesn't get much at all from you but lives off the yolk sac.
