Because he so badly wants to be his party's nominee.

Talking about last night's debate, it is funny how they stop fighting long enough to bash Hillary, then go back to fighting among each other again. I think Michael Huckabee should drop out and run as a third party candidate. I think he will be the Ross Perot everyone on YA is talking about, not Ron Paul.

His opinion is not what I would call objective. No candidates is when it comes to their opponents. Rudy needs to worry about placating the Christian conservatives who's leadership is already on record as saying that they are unhappy with Rudy's stance on social issues. James Dobson has already said that if Rudy gets the nomination that he will consider supporting a conservative third party candidate.

He is just talking because he knows better, he can't beat Hillary he has to much bad baggage. All the Republicans are saying they can beat Hillary, instead of talking about what they stand for or will do if elected all they talk about, is I can beat Hillary. Not one of them can run America they don't know how to talk , they have nothing to give just all about Hillary. It makes them look stupid and everyone knows that they aren't debating only talk just one thing , "I can beat Hillary". Show the people what you are going to do to beat Hillary , you can't because you are like Bush , you have no plan. They make fun of each other and looks like a bunch of grade school kids trying win a spelling contest, I feel sorry for them because all such bad and sad candidates.

Because he thinks he can get the moderates to vote for him. If any other republican is nominated, he thinks that the moderates will flock to hillary . I happen to think he's right .. but even if he were to win some moderates, hillary still has most of them .. and plenty enough to win the election.
