Banks transact business by computer, but wonder if they have a backup plan?

should a catastrophe happen that completely wiped out communications? That would be a catastrophe of mass proportions.

Actually bank or any other company they have enough backup plan to protect from any catastrophe. Visit any bank IT related person or Information security officer, they will definately convince you that your money/account will be safe with bank.

Back up plan is to go to paper based Ledger.
Just like the old days!!
