I pulled my car into the shop this morning and I saw a woman working there. I think that's great!!

Definitely have -- the mother of a guy I went through school with from elementary to high school was a mechanic. Their family owned a garage . . . she would often pick him up and come to school functions in her uniform. She didn't seem very feminine though. Also another girl I graduated with, took Automotive Tech at the vocational school through high school.

I have seen a woman construction worker/welder before but not a woman mechanic.

Yes, we have a woman technician (they are no longer called mechanics) at our Buick dealership. She is really nice and does a fine job.

No i haven't but i'll bet she did the job right.Good for her.I used to tell my husband i should have went to mechanics school.Now that he is gone' i think i should have.Have a good day.

Sure, My cousin does, but she's a dyke, and a friend of mine does to, she's straight, however she's not into making herself look nice
