That's not how accountants count money.
They would say how many singles in a lac.
How many hundreds in a lac.
How many thousands in a lac or lakh etc.

The word 'lac (lakh) is not used in the U.S. and Canada. I don't know about the U.K. It is 100,000 (one hundred thousand).
